Gary Vande Vegte, Managing Partner
CPA, CMA
As the managing partner, Gary oversees firm operations by strategically planning for the future, and communicating our vision and strategic objectives throughout our organization.
His professional focus is to provide a wide range of accounting, tax, and consulting services to individuals, agricultural producers & entities, and small businesses in various industry sectors. Gary is passionate about coming to work and seeing the firm grow. He often says that his job at VB&VV is to "take care of problems and capitalize on opportunities," while also coaching them through challenging situations. Gary leads our dairy team and assists owner-operated dairies around the Midwest and as far South as Texas, offering consulting, tax services, and accrual basis financial statement preparation. Gary enjoys public speaking engagements at dairy conferences and seminars. In recent years, he has become more involved in succession planning and thoroughly enjoys assisting families transition their businesses to the next generation.

Judi Van Berkel, Administrative Partner
CPA, MPA
Serving as the firm's administrative partner, Judi enjoys spending time on human resources and marketing efforts. In addition, she enjoys assisting individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations with their tax and accounting needs. Judi feels that our number one asset is our staff and she feels privileged to work with an amazing team of professionals who are uniquely equipped and gifted to serve our client base.

Matt Van Essen, Partner
CPA, CVA
Matt's areas of expertise are income tax compliance and planning, business valuation services, cash flow and financial projections, and general business consulting. He is a key member of our tax team, specializes in small business and large dairy operations, is certified to perform business valuations, and assists with estate and succession planning. Matt values working as a team with dedicated, knowledgeable professionals in a fun and flexible work environment. He enjoys helping clients work through financial hurdles to reach their goals.

TJ Korver, Manager
CPA
TJ focuses on tax compliance and planning for individuals and entities, specializing in the agricultural sector. He is also part of the dairy team and is involved with financial statement preparation. TJ appreciates the diverse nature of opportunities available in serving clients and the variety of work.

Jeff Nibbelink, Audit & Accounting Partner
CPA, MBA
Jeff oversees our Rock Valley office and as a partner, manages the finances of the firm. Jeff assists client in identifying efficiencies and reaching their maximum profitability with the assistance of our accounting, auditing, and taxation expertise; he strives to exceed client expectations.
Jeff values working in a business where change is a constant and appreciates the variety of professional challenges that this presents. He particularly enjoys interacting with clients, colleagues, and the community.

Michael Ten Clay, Partner
CPA
Michael’s focus is Dairy and Feedlot clients, and related businesses across the Midwest. Michael specializes in tax planning and preparation, income and cash flow projections, and financial statement preparation. He helps with leadership of our Ag Services Team, which produces accrual financial statements for clients in the Beef, Dairy, Row Crop, and Swine industries. Michael is passionate about his clients, and enjoys walking alongside them through ownership changes, expansions, and all parts of their business cycles.
